The GoGeomatics Expo in Calgary was a resounding success, and Eagle Engineering and Consulting was thrilled to be right at the heart of it! As a platinum sponsor, we kicked off the event in style by hosting the welcome reception and networking happy hour. It was fantastic to connect with so many industry professionals and share our passion for geospatial technology.
Our booth was abuzz with activity throughout the expo. We showcased our cutting-edge reality capture technology, including the Trimble MX7 and MX9, and the Leica Pegasus mobile mapping backpack. Attendees were particularly interested in learning how these tools can improve efficiency and accuracy in various applications, from surveying and engineering to asset management and oil field survey.
Knowledge Sharing Takes Center Stage
Eagle’s expertise was on full display during the conference sessions. Kelsey Green delivered an insightful presentation on “The Impact of Reality Capture on Infrastructure Asset Management,” highlighting the transformative potential of this technology for optimizing infrastructure lifecycles. Alex Hill-Stosky not only served as MC for the reality capture track, keeping the energy high and the sessions flowing smoothly, but also shared his valuable findings from the CanSLAM course.
